The club provide a range of swimwear and swim accessories at very competitive.  Our club colours are red and black and the Speedo Endurance Swimwear is provided through the club. Please note that competitive swimmers wear their swimwear tighter than for leisure swimming and therefore a smaller size than usual is recommended. (A useful tip for new costumes (for girls) is to carry Vaseline and rub onto the shoulders before putting the costume on).  This is to prevent drag therefore potentially reducing their performance.  Endurance costumes are designed for training and often have less elasticity than performance costumes.  Equally the more use the swimwear has the more the elasticity will give and therefore it is not long before costumes look and feel baggy.  Swimmers are recommended to purchase the Endurance range for training but consider purchasing Speedo Aquablade or equivalent range (in black, and or black/red) for competition - these ideally should be purchased in a smaller size as they do contain a high degree of elasticity.  A useful site to visit for these costumes is  http://www.allensswimwear.co.uk/search.asp?searchbox4=SpecialOffer
